Published on February 25, 2026

ISC2 members will have the opportunity to share their experience to influence how cybersecurity professionals around the world learn, grow, and respond to emerging threats. All ISC2 Members in good standing have a new opportunity to raise the bar for the profession and help develop educational content that is relevant, practical and future-ready.

By engaging as a Volunteer Content Contributor, members position themselves as thought leaders within the global cybersecurity community. Their professional experience provides them with the unique ability to translate real-world challenges into guidance that helps others succeed.

This opportunity is best suited for those with the skill to craft concise, accurate and practical content that translates complex concepts into actionable insights for professionals at all stages of their careers. Volunteers will be partnered with an ISC2 Instructional Designer who will provide guidance throughout the process. Member contributions are of the utmost value to help ensure ISC2 resources remain trusted, relevant and immediately applicable to cybersecurity professionals around the world.

Volunteer Content Contributors can earn up to 20 CPE credits while gaining meaningful professional visibility and recognition. Additional benefits include acknowledgment in ISC2 newsletters, events, and on the ISC2 website, along with digital badges issued through Credly that validate contributions. Volunteers also have opportunities to showcase their work on LinkedIn, strengthen their resumé or CV with credible volunteer experience, network with new connections, and make a lasting impact by contributing to the advancement of the cybersecurity profession.
